Addition of electrophiles (E ¼ Hþ, Meþ) to Cb gives [Ru{¼C¼CE(SMe)}(PMe3)2Cp]þ [E ¼ H (41), Me (42)], while methylation ([OMe3]þ) affords [Ru{¼C¼CR(SMe2)}(PMe3)2Cp]þ (R ¼ H (43), Me).
